General Problems in making Prototypes
- Most Prototypes are failed or stretched for long period under working process.
- Most prototypes are made by third party in their workshops.
- Lack of Technical clarity between Engineering drawings, understanding, Sequence of process
- The third party manufacturers priority always to make the thing happen anyway or convenience to their available workers and machinery. Even they try to change the design and process.
- The Designer have to go to each stage and explain each worker at each stage process, because many workers doing different tasks. It is very difficult to explain GD&T at every stage.
- The Designers focus on How the Product actually work, functions, aesthetic looks, ergonomics, Working Range , Technical Validation, Cost Reduction. However The third party manufacturers mainly focus on manufacturing and large quantity manufacturing order from you.
- For sample Prototype for 2-3 items they are generally not interested. They focus on another mass production customer.
